intimacy, movement, nature & music

Each project is a collaboration between my mind’s eye and the person in front of my lens, guided by curiosity, alternative perspectives, and presence. I’m drawn to raw emotion and playfulness, while staying intentional with style, light, and color to capture the authentic, creative being that lies within all of us.

why i love to do what i do

consent + care

Creating alongside people and documenting their lives, their work, and the worlds they’re building is such a gift. I’m honored each time I’m invited into that process, always prioritizing consent, safety, comfort, and care to create spaces where people can show up fully as themselves.

all-in-one packages

I handle photography, videography, editing, visual art, and graphic design all myself. From my early days drawing on the kitchen table, making flip-phone videos, and shooting with my hot pink Canon PowerShot, I bring that same hands-on passion to weddings, portraits, album artwork, and music videos.

your questions answered

  • Hey, I’m Jayden, a queer, trans photographer, videographer, editor, visual artist, and graphic designer based in Portland, Oregon. I work across weddings, portraits, music videos, album artwork, and music Canvas visuals, blending intimacy, movement, and nature to create authentic, creative imagery. I work locally and am always open to traveling, and I also collaborate remotely on certain visual projects.

  • Every session is a collaboration. For weddings, portraits, outdoor shoots, and creative projects, I guide with curiosity and presence while capturing natural moments, honest expression, and movement. I work intentionally with light, color, and perspective to create imagery that feels alive and personal. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, confident, and fully yourself in front of the camera.

  • Yes! I work with artists to develop custom visual concepts for music videos, album artwork, and Spotify Canvas loops. My video work leans abstract and feeling-based first! I love helping artists translate their sound into imagery, and many of these projects can be created virtually, making collaboration easy no matter where you’re located.

  • Absolutely. I love shooting outdoor portraits, weddings, and creative shoots that weave in forests, gardens, rivers, and natural landscapes. Growing up in rural Oregon shaped how I see and create. I love working with natural light, motion, and atmosphere to create images that feel organic, emotional, and connected to place, a collaboration between us and the land!

  • My style blends intimacy, emotion, and movement with intentional use of light, color, and composition. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, making portraits, or creating visuals for artists, I focus on storytelling and capturing the creative being within each person.

  • As a queer, neurodivergent, chronically ill artist, I understand how important it is to feel safe and respected in creative spaces. I prioritize consent, communication, and care at every stage of the process. I work intentionally to create environments where marginalized clients, neurodivergent folks, and people of all identities can show up fully as themselves. Your comfort, boundaries, and self-expression always come first.

  • Booking starts with a conversation! Reach out via my contact page to talk about your wedding, portrait session, outdoor shoot, music visuals, or creative project. I’ll answer questions, help shape your ideas, and build a plan that fits your vision. I love collaborating with people to bring their creative worlds to life.

wedding or elopement questions?

  • Yes! I photograph weddings and engagement sessions in Portland, across Oregon, and beyond. I often work with queer and trans couples, musicians, and artists drawn to my alternative, ethereal creative style. I love capturing connection, playful moments, and emotional storytelling, whether it’s an intimate elopement or a full celebration.

  • I recommend booking 6–12 months in advance for weddings and 3–6 weeks for engagement sessions, depending on your date and season. This gives us time to plan your vision!

  • Expect a collaborative, relaxed, and joyful experience. I’ll guide you through movement and moments when needed, giving clear direction while still keeping things natural and intuitive. My approach is rooted in documentary-style photography, being present without being intrusive, so you can stay in your experience while I focus on the moments happening around you. For weddings, I capture both candid and intentional moments, from quiet exchanges to celebration and dance-floor energy.

Engagement sessions are a chance to play, connect, and document your love. For weddings, we’ll also have multiple video calls and ongoing email communication leading up to your day so we can talk through logistics, priorities, and what feels most important to you.

  • Absolutely. I love incorporating gardens, forests, rivers, fields and Oregon landscapes into wedding and engagement sessions. Outdoor settings bring in natural light, movement, and emotion, creating images that feel organic, timeless, and deeply personal.
